Assist 42

The Memorial FD assisted Station 42 on a house fire just off Brick Granary Rd. Tanker 89 with 15 and 89-1 with Deputy 89 responded to the scene. Our firefighters assisted in the house with members from Milford, Ellendale and Houston. A quick extinguishment minimized the damage. Command officer was Asst Chief Konesey, 42-17. State Fire Marshals office is investigating the cause. The Milton FD provided an engine to cover our district. A-89 also responded to the scene to cover after A-42 left for a call. Not sure if smoke detectors were functional.
