At 9:59 am on June 25 Station 89, 82, 40 & 57 we’re dispatched to a person in the water of the beach. Marine 89 responded with Deputy Chief Jester, Asst Chief Deese and both Fulltime Emt’s. We found a catamaran sailboat on its side with the owner hanging on. Deputy Chief Jester and Emt Thorpe were deployed to the water to assist the boat operator. They helped right the Catamaran and the sailor went on his way. Besides the FD’s were Uscg and Dsp Helicopter Trooper 2. Marine 89 was cleared by 10:45 am.
