Nature: Delaware State Fire Chiefs Association – Annual Meeting – Installation Officers

On Thursday, September 15, the Delaware State Fire Chiefs Association held its Annual Installation of Officers Meeting in Cheswold, Delaware.

The highlight of the meeting was the keynote speaker – Fire Chief Rick Laskey Chief Richard "Rick" Lasky is an emergency services consultant, author, motivational speaker, and former chief of the Lewisville, Texas Fire Department. Originally from the Chicago area, Lasky worked in various capacities for police and fire departments in Illinois and Idaho before moving to Lewisville, where he was the city's fire chief for 11 years. He retired as chief in 2011 to become a full-time consultant and educator. He has written one book and co-authored another.

Additionally, the Memorial Fire Company is pleased to announce the installation that Chief Terry Jester was installed at the 2016-2017 President of the Delaware State Fire Chiefs Association.
